The Holocaust has deeply affected the life of Israelis. In this lecture, Dr. Rachel Korazim, a graduate of Haifa University with a PhD in Jewish education, uses literary texts of different Israeli writers to demonstrate how the survivors of the Holocaust and their descendants tried to overcome the silence which surrounds an unimaginable and ununderstandable crime against humanity. Her lecture allows a deeper understanding of Israeli society in the aftermath of the Holocaust.
