As Artificial Intelligence research and development evolves, its implementation and use consistently grows in society. Accompanying the technological expansion, the need to address the challenges and seize the opportunities brought by the technology to the public sector expands. With this in mind, the TUM IEAI and the Akademie für Politische Bildung hold a co-created multidisciplinary conference in which different stakeholders from a variety of sectors such as academia, civil society, and private industry come together to discuss tomorrow’s solutions to today’s dilemmas. The newest developments of artificial intelligence will be discussed, as well as their possible consequences on society and the public sector. The questions attached to such implications will be addressed through an ethical lense, while understanding the European legal framework surrounding those evolutions.
